Custodial Supervisor – Evening Shift (5:00 PM – 1:30 AM, Monday–Friday)

Location: Burlington
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday, 5:00 PM – 1:30 AM
Reports To: Operations Manager

About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Custodial Supervisor to oversee our evening custodial operations. The ideal candidate will lead a team of custodians, ensuring our facilities remain clean, safe, and well-maintained. This position plays a key role in maintaining our organization’s professional image and providing a safe, welcoming environment for employees and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate the work of evening custodial staff.
  • Inspect facilities to ensure cleaning and sanitation standards are met.
  • Train, mentor, and evaluate team members.
  • Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment inventory; submit purchase requests as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and security procedures.
  • Assist in scheduling, shift coverage, and performance management.
  • Perform custodial duties as needed to support the team.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of custodial or janitorial experience, with 1+ year in a supervisory role preferred, but willing to train the right candidate.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical cleaning tasks as required.
