Position Summary:
The Quality Control / Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of custodial accounts to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and client satisfaction. This role serves as a bridge between clients, supervisors/managers, and front-line teams — ensuring compliance with company standards, contractual requirements, and all safety and quality protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Management
- Oversee daily custodial operations across assigned sites, ensuring staffing coverage, schedule compliance, and service quality.
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure adherence to scope of work and quality expectations.
- Support supervisors and managers with employee scheduling, training, and performance management.
- Verify supply inventory and ensure cost control within established budgets.
- Recommend process improvements and new technologies to enhance service quality.
Quality Assurance
- Develop and implement quality control programs and inspection checklists.
- Perform quality audits and prepare inspection reports, tracking performance trends.
- Follow up with corrective actions for deficiencies and monitor completion.
- Collaborate with clients during walkthroughs and ensure timely resolution of service issues.
Client Relations
- Serve as the main operational contact for clients within assigned accounts.
- Maintain positive and proactive communication with clients to ensure satisfaction and retention.
- Participate in client meetings, provide operational updates, and present improvement plans.
Team Leadership
- Coach and develop site supervisors and team leads to ensure consistency and performance excellence.
- Reinforce company policies, safety rules, and performance expectations.
- Collaborate with operations and HR teams to improve staff performance and retention.
- Promote teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement across all levels.
Administrative Duties
- Prepare and maintain operational reports (inspections, incident logs, inventory).
- Maintain detailed records of inspections, corrective actions, and performance metrics.
- Ensure all required documentation is completed accurately and on time.
Qualifications:
- Bilingual (English/Spanish).
- Minimum 2-4 years of custodial or facilities management experience (multi-site preferred).
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of janitorial equipment, chemicals, and OSHA safety standards.
- Ability to conduct inspections, analyze reports, and recommend improvements.
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) and operational software (WinTeam, WorkWave, etc.).
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.

Work Environment:
