Job Overview: We are seeking a reliable, motivated, and experienced Lead Day Porter with the ability to communicate in English and Spanish to supervise a small team of cleaners and ensure the cleanliness and upkeep of a fitness and exercise facility. The ideal candidate will be an experienced team leader with strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a proactive attitude toward maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.   

Key Responsibilities:   

· Lead and supervise a team of 2 cleaners, ensuring all tasks are completed to high standards.   

· Clean and maintain common areas including lobbies, hallways, elevators, stairwells, restrooms, sidewalks, parking lot and other shared spaces.   

· Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, wiping surfaces, and emptying trash.   

· Ensure all cleaning equipment and supplies are in good working condition and request restocking as needed.   

· Empty trash cans and ensure proper waste disposal practices are followed.   

· Identify and report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or other concerns to the Maintenance and Facility Director in a timely manner.   

· Adhere to all safety protocols and cleaning standards, including the use of appropriate cleaning chemicals and equipment.   

· Foster a cooperative team environment and support colleagues as needed to meet cleaning goals.   

· Provide feedback to management on team performance and suggest improvements to cleaning processes.   

Requirements:   

· Previous experience in a janitorial or cleaning role, with at least 1 year of experience in leadership or supervisory capacity.   

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently.   

· Available to work Monday through Friday, from 7:00AM to 3:30PM.   

· Physical ability to lift and move heavy items such as trash bags, equipment and supplies   

· Strong communication and organizational skills to manage the team and ensure high-quality work.   

· Reliable transportation to and from work.   

· Must be punctual, dependable, and able to maintain a positive, motivated team atmosphere.   

· Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
