LACOSTA is hiring experienced Handymen to join our manufacturing team in Corinth, MS. This is a full-time, first shift position with weekly pay, consistent hours, and the opportunity to start quickly.
Job Schedule: Monday–Friday, 40 hours/week
Pay Rate: Paid weekly (every Friday)
- $20.00–$24.00/hr (depending on experience)
Job Description:
Responsible for performing general maintenance and repair tasks throughout the manufacturing facility to ensure equipment, buildings, and grounds are maintained in safe and working condition.
Job Duties:
- Perform light maintenance including door operation and repair
- Basic plumbing repairs
- HVAC filter changes
- Light bulb changes
- Pressure washing
- Prep and painting
- Auto servicing and cleaning
- Fence repair
- Fork truck operation
- Basic carpentry
- Apply sealants and adhesives
- Operate common hand and power tools (digging tools, screwdrivers, pliers, hammers, wrenches, grinders, etc.)
- Follow proper ladder usage procedures
- Assist with general facility upkeep and repairs
- Maintain clean and organized work areas
- Follow all safety policies and procedures
Requirements:
- Must have personal vehicle and valid driver’s license (may need to use company vehicle)
- Experience with general maintenance and use of tools/equipment
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs independently
- Ability to walk, stand, reach, bend, and perform physical labor throughout the shift
- Must be in good physical condition
- Knowledge of and compliance with all safety regulations
- Knowledge and application of proper ladder usage
- Experience with man lifts is a plus
- Pass background check and drug screening
