Requirements of Custodian/Janitor: 

• No Experience, No Problem!
• Effectively communicate with manager and other staff regarding issues and supply needs
• Attention to detail a must! Customer facing role.
• Ability to walk and stand for prolonged periods, lots of walking in this role
• Ability to bend, stoop, reach and lift up to 25 pounds
• Ability to use motorized equipment (vacuum, hand operated floor cleaners)
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and safety related materials
• Must be able to pass a background check

Role of Custodian/Janitor: 

• Maintaining the cleanliness of a commercial building
• Cleaning, stocking and sanitizing several restrooms
• Disposing of trash & recycling which requires lots of bending and stooping
• Cleaning of stairwells
• Mopping & sweeping floors
• Dusting and surface cleaning
• Windows and glass cleaning
• Inventory management of supplies

Custodians/Janitors have daily exposure to cleaning solutions.  

Shift: 5:00pm to 1:30am (Monday through Friday)
