Working Area Supervisor

SummaryWe're not looking for someone who just clocks in. We're after a hands-on, relentless leader—a field operator who owns the chaos, spots issues before they blow up, and gets the job done right, every time. You'll be embedded in the buildings you oversee: training cleaners, jumping in on the floor when needed, enforcing standards, and driving excellence across assigned accounts. You are the frontline enforcer of quality, the fixer of problems, and the right-hand support to the Division Manager. No excuses, no loose ends—you make sure every site shines and every shift runs smooth.

Key Responsibilities(Daily duties include, but are not limited to:)

Team Leadership & Development

  • Directly oversee cleaners in assigned accounts: train new hires, coach performance, evaluate work quality, and hold the team to elite standards.
  • Jump in and perform cleaning tasks alongside the crew whenever needed—lead by example, never from the sidelines.
  • Proactively manage staffing: spot gaps early, secure coverage, and ensure buildings always have the right people in place to meet demands.

Quality Control & Site Excellence

  • Conduct regular building visits and inspections to verify high standards of cleanliness are met—no detail escapes your eye.
  • Inspect cleaning closets, logbooks, communication logs, SDS binders, and PPE daily—keep everything organized, compliant, and ready.
  • Identify issues on-site and take immediate corrective action to protect quality and client satisfaction.

Operations & Resource Management

  • Monitor supplies and equipment levels across accounts; order as needed and personally deliver to buildings to eliminate downtime.
  • Assist the Division Manager in meeting staffing plans, budget targets, and operational goals—no surprises, just results.
  • Support customer and team engagement: maintain timely, clear communication with clients, cleaners, and admin staff; join Division Manager on customer visits when required.

What You Bring

  • You lead from the front—reliable transportation is non-negotiable because you're out in the field daily.
  • Hands-on experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work; you know the work inside-out and can train others effectively.
  • Obsessed with standards: you spot subpar work instantly and fix it without hesitation.
  • Proactive mindset—you don't wait for problems; you prevent them and chase perfection.
  • Strong communicator: clear, direct, and professional with teams, clients, and managers.
  • Tech-comfortable with basic tools (scheduling apps, logs, email) and thrive in fast-moving, on-your-feet environments.

This is a working supervisor role for someone who thrives on ownership and action. You don't manage from a desk—you own the buildings, the team, and the results. If you're ready to drive CleanCraft-level excellence in the field every day, this is your spot.
