Job Title: Special Projects Cleaning Technician (Janitorial / Floor Care)

Employment Type: Full-Time (40 hours/week)

About the Role:

Stathakis is seeking a dependable and motivated Special Projects Cleaning Technician to support our field operations through a combination of janitorial cleaning, floor care, and specialty project work.

This is a hands-on, field-based role ideal for someone who enjoys variety in their workday, takes pride in quality results, and is comfortable working independently across multiple job sites. This role includes commercial cleaning, floor care, carpet cleaning, and specialty services across a variety of facilities.

What You’ll Do:

Field Operations Support (Janitorial / Cleaning):

• Fill in for call-offs and open janitorial positions as needed
• Perform general janitorial and commercial cleaning duties, including:
• Restroom cleaning
• Trash removal
• Dusting and surface cleaning
• Vacuuming and mopping
• Travel between job sites throughout the shift
• Follow daily assignments provided by management
• Communicate progress and job completion throughout the shift

Specialty Cleaning & Floor Care:

• Perform hard surface floor care, including:
• Strip and wax
• Top scrub and recoat
• Carpet cleaning and extraction
• Interior and exterior window cleaning
• Power washing and exterior cleaning
• Operate and maintain floor care and cleaning equipment
• Follow all safety procedures and chemical handling guidelines

Schedule & Work Expectations :

• Full-time: 40 hours per week
• Typical shift: 4:30 PM – 1:00 AM (30-minute unpaid lunch)
• Primarily Monday–Friday, but weekend work is frequently required based on project needs
• When weekend work is required, you will be scheduled days off during the week (5-day workweek maintained)
• Schedules are typically provided 2 weeks in advance
• Overtime available for those interested in additional hours

• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
• Reliable cell phone for communication
• Ability to work independently and stay organized
• Willingness to learn floor care, carpet cleaning, and specialty cleaning services
• Ability to lift and handle cleaning equipment and supplies
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude
