Programmed Cleaning Inc. services multi-tenant buildings, commercial office buildings, healthcare facilities, financial institutions, and educational facilities just to name a few of our clientele. With over 60 years of cleaning experience, we have established ourselves as a dynamic regional contractor.

We are currently hiring for a Part-Time General Cleaner position paying $15 per hour, located in a warehouse on the east side of Madison. The schedule is Monday through Friday from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM. We are seeking reliable, detail-oriented candidates with prior experience.

Daily duties include cleaning dining area tables and microwaves, restocking condiments and paper products, troubleshooting the coffee machine, breaking down cardboard boxes, removing trash and recycling, and maintaining four restrooms. Steel-toe shoes are required, with reimbursement available. Candidates must also be comfortable using a backpack vacuum.

 ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESONSIBILITIES:

• Dust surfaces include desktops, cabinet tops, partitions, etc.
• Empty wastebaskets and recyclables; transport to designated disposal area.
• Sweep and mop hard surfaced floors.
• Vacuum floors using upright vacuum and/or vac packs.
• Spot clean carpet.
• Clean glass areas.
• Clean and disinfect sinks, countertops, toilets, mirrors, floors, etc.
• Clean restrooms and maintain supplies- ensure restrooms are stocked
• Polish metalwork, such as fixtures and fittings.
• Job duties and/or assigned areas may be modified at any time based on customer or manager discretion.
• Follow all company Safety standards and procedures.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Able to work in a fast-paced work environment.

·         Able to stand or walk during the entire shift to accomplish tasks. Bend, lift, carry, reach/extend arms and hands above shoulder height frequently, or otherwise move in a constantly changing environment.

·         Able to lift, carry, push, and pull 25lbs. frequently and up to 50lbs. occasionally.

·         Able to work in teams if needed.

·         Able to work with cleaning chemicals.

·         Must have reliable transportation.

·         Must have effective communication and people skills.
