Basic Functions: The Warehouse & Facilities Specialist is the backbone of our daily efficiency. You will be responsible for ensuring our fleet is road-ready, our warehouse is meticulously organized, and our facility is well-maintained. This role also provides critical "boots on the ground" support for offsite client projects, ranging from emergency water extraction to general site cleanup
Major Responsibilities:
1. Fleet Management & Maintenance
- Daily/Weekly Inspections: Conduct thorough vehicle inspections, focusing on safety and upkeep (tires, fluids, lights, and wiper blades).
- Maintenance Coordination: Schedule service with external mechanics; manage the drop-off and pick-up logistics to ensure zero fleet downtime.
- Digital Record Keeping: Maintain precise electronic records of all vehicle history and email status reports to management weekly.
2. Inventory & Warehouse Logistics
- Stock Control: Monitor inventory levels; submit reorder requests when items hit established Minimum Levels.
- Organization: Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and organization within the warehouse.
- Laundry Operations: Manage the cleaning, folding, and cycling of industrial linens and gear.
3. Building Maintenance
- Facilities Upkeep: Perform light plumbing, replace light bulbs, and swap out ceiling tiles.
- Minor Repairs: Address general wear-and-tear around the building to ensure a safe, professional environment.
4. Offsite Field Support
- Specialized Cleaning: Support field teams with high-intensity tasks, including water extraction, biohazard remediation, and bulk trash removal at client sites.
- Equipment Readiness: Ensure all equipment used offsite is cleaned, tested, and returned to its proper place.
Qualifications/Education/Work Experience:
- Licensing: Must possess a valid Driver’s License and maintain a clean driving record (MVR check required).
- Technical Handiness: Proficiency with basic hand tools and a "handyman" aptitude for minor mechanical and facility repairs.
- Digital Literacy: Ability to maintain electronic logs and communicate professionally via email.
- Physical Stamina: Capable of lifting 50+ lbs and performing labor-intensive tasks in various environments (crawls spaces, ladders, etc.).
- Reliability: High level of accountability regarding "Minimum Level" reordering to prevent operational delays.
