Now Hiring Full-Time positions in Ann Arbor

Full-time: Monday-Friday 1st shift 10am-4pm

Position Summary

The Facility Services Associate is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment at an assigned building. This role blends traditional janitorial duties with light hospitality support and daily customer interaction, making it an excellent fit for someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys being a visible, helpful presence on-site.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect surfaces throughout the facility including restrooms, offices, break rooms, and common areas.
• Operate floor care equipment including walk-behind scrubbers, ride-on machines, and backpack vacuums.
• Restock restroom and kitchen supplies such as paper products, soap, and other consumables.
• Empty trash and recycling receptacles and ensure proper waste disposal.
• Set up and pack daily lunches or light hospitality services as directed.
• Receive, log, and distribute incoming packages and deliveries in a timely manner.
• Serve as a friendly, professional point of contact for building occupants and respond to facility requests.
• Conduct walkthroughs and report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or supply shortages.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in janitorial, facilities, hospitality, or a related field preferred but not required.
• Comfortable working directly with building occupants and clients in a professional manner.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions and manage time independently.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to maintain consistent attendance.
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks including walking, bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.

Schedule and Work Environment

This is a full-time, on-site position at a commercial building. Working hours are Mon-Fri 10am-4pm.

Compensation

$16.00 per hour
