Custodian | Northville

Monday through Friday | 5:30pm to 9:30pm

$16.00 - $17.00 per hour | Part Time

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Custodian to support cleaning operations at a professional automotive headquarters facility in the Northville area near the I-275 and 6 Mile corridor.

This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in maintaining a clean, organized, and professional workplace. The facility supports a global automotive supplier, so reliability, attention to detail, and consistent quality are important in this role.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine janitorial and custodial duties throughout office and common areas
• Vacuum offices, hallways, conference rooms, and shared spaces using a backpack vacuum
• Pull trash and replace liners throughout the facility
• Maintain cleanliness throughout entrances, workspaces, and common areas
• Restock facility supplies as needed
• Follow cleaning procedures and safety guidelines
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and professional workplace environment

Requirements

• Previous janitorial or custodial experience preferred
• Experience using a backpack vacuum preferred
• Reliable attendance and dependable work ethic
• Ability to work independently and stay on task
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and wear/use a backpack vacuum during the shift
• Comfortable working in a professional office and automotive business environment
