Position: General Maintenance Tech

Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable and skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician to support the maintenance, repair, and overall upkeep of our facility. The ideal candidate will have prior HVAC experience along with general building maintenance knowledge and a strong work ethic. This role works closely with the maintenance team to perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and help ensure the facility operates safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repair tasks throughout the facility
• Assist with HVAC system inspections, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance
• Complete work orders in a timely, professional manner
• Support maintenance of heating, cooling, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems
• Perform basic building repairs including filter changes, light fixture replacement, and minor equipment repairs
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas
• Follow company safety procedures and maintenance protocols
• Respond to emergency maintenance needs as required
• Accurately document completed maintenance activities
• Assist with seasonal grounds maintenance including lawn care and snow removal

Qualifications

• Previous HVAC experience or vocational training preferred
• Basic knowledge of maintenance tools and equipment
• Ability to learn quickly and follow instructions
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical work
• Reliable attendance and dependable work ethic
• Requires a valid driver's license with a clean driving record
