The Porter Services Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a portfolio of commercial shopping centers, retail properties, office parks, and exterior focused facilities.

This is a hands-on field leadership position requiring supervision, inspections, customer interaction, and physical labor. The Supervisor ensures all assigned properties are maintained to company and client standards while identifying opportunities for additional services and revenue growth. Working Hours: Monday through Friday 8am-5pm

What You'll Do:

 Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Supervise and support porters and maintenance personnel assigned to multiple properties.• Conduct regular quality inspections and property assessments.• Generate inspection reports, photographs, and corrective action plans using company software and mobile devices.• Ensure all contracted services are completed according to scope and quality standards.• Identify deficiencies, safety concerns, and maintenance issues requiring corrective action.• Proactively identify opportunities for additional billable services and special projects, including pressure washing, asphalt repairs, striping, bulk trash removal, landscape cleanup, car stop replacement, signage repairs, and other property improvements.• Provide recommendations and cost information to the Area Manager for customer proposals and additional work authorizations.• Perform and assist with outdoor cleaning activities, including:

  • Litter removal
  • Sidewalk and parking lot cleaning
  • Leaf blowing
  • Dumpster enclosure cleaning
  • Common area maintenance
  • Perform or oversee special projects such as:
  • Pressure washing
  • Asphalt patching and minor pavement repairs
  • Car stop installation and replacement
  • Graffiti removal
  • Signage replacement
  • Exterior maintenance repairs
  • Train employees on company procedures, quality standards, and safety requirements.
  • Monitor attendance, productivity, and work performance of assigned staff.
  • Coordinate schedules, routes, and daily work assignments.
  • Respond to customer requests, complaints, and service issues in a professional and timely manner.
  • Maintain tools, equipment, vehicles, and inventory.
  • Ensure compliance with all company safety policies and procedures.
  • Assist with emergency response, storm preparation, and urgent customer requests.
  • Perform physical work as needed to support operational requirements.

What We're Looking For:• Valid Driver's License with an acceptable driving record.• Ability to drive between multiple properties throughout the service area.• Experience operating commercial maintenance equipment including backpack blowers, pressure washers, wet vacuums, and power tools.• Strong understanding of commercial property maintenance and exterior cleaning operations.• Ability to use smartphones, tablets, email, and reporting software.• Ability to take photographs and generate professional inspection reports.• Strong communication, leadership, and customer service skills.• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.• Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, and lift up to 50 pounds regularly.• Ability to safely operate vehicles, equipment, and maintenance tools.• Ability to perform physically demanding work for extended periods.
