Monday - Friday | 5:30 PM - 9:30 PM

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Custodian to support evening cleaning operations at a professional automotive technology facility in the Northville area near the I-275 corridor.

This role is responsible for completing a variety of custodial duties throughout the building, including vacuuming, trash removal, floor care, stair cleaning, and general facility upkeep. The ideal candidate is reliable, thorough, and comfortable staying active throughout the shift.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine custodial duties throughout assigned areas of the facility
• Vacuum offices, hallways, conference rooms, and shared spaces using a backpack vacuum
• Sweep, mop, and maintain hard surface floors and stairs
• Follow cleaning procedures, safety guidelines, and building expectations
• Report facility concerns, supply needs, or equipment issues to management

Requirements

• Previous janitorial or custodial experience preferred
• Ability to wear and use a backpack vacuum during the shift
• Ability to sweep and mop stairs as part of assigned duties
• Reliable attendance and dependable work ethic
• Ability to work independently and complete assigned cleaning duties
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, push, pull, sweep, mop, and move throughout the shift
• Comfortable working in a professional automotive technology environment

Pay: $16 - $17 per hour
