Saber Building Services is excited to welcome a dependable Custodian to our team at an automotive facility near the I-75 and M-59 corridor in Auburn Hills. This position is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work and takes pride in keeping floors and stairways clean, safe, and well maintained.

This role functions primarily as a floor care position and includes the use of commercial cleaning equipment. Previous automatic floor scrubber experience is preferred, but we are willing to train someone who is motivated and ready to learn.

Responsibilities

• Sweep and mop hard-surface floors
• Sweep and mop stairs and stairwells
• Operate an automatic floor scrubber
• Inspect and maintain floor-care equipment before use and report maintenance concerns
• Follow established cleaning and safety procedures
• Report supply, equipment, or facility concerns to management

Requirements

• Previous automatic floor scrubber experience preferred but not required
• Willingness and ability to learn to operate an automatic floor scrubber
• Dependable and consistent attendance
• Ability to work independently and complete assigned duties
• Ability to safely sweep and mop stairs
• Ability to lift, bend, stand, walk, and perform repetitive physical tasks

Pay: $15 - $16 per hour
