Saber Building Services is seeking a dependable Day Porter / Custodian to support daily cleaning operations at an automotive manufacturing facility near the 26 Mile Road corridor in Washington Township. This highly visible position helps maintain a clean, safe, and professional environment throughout the workday.

The Day Porter / Custodian communicates directly with building staff, employees, and visitors while responding to routine cleaning needs. Consistent daily attendance is essential because this position provides ongoing coverage and immediate support throughout the facility.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness in common areas and other high-traffic spaces
• Respond promptly to spills, service requests, and changing building needs
• Remove trash and restock cleaning and restroom supplies
• Perform routine custodial duties throughout the facility
• Communicate professionally with building staff, employees, and visitors
• Report supply, safety, or facility concerns to management

Requirements

• Consistent, dependable daily attendance
• Previous custodial experience preferred but not required
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and respond to requests throughout the day
• Ability to perform physical custodial work, including lifting, bending, standing, and walking
• Ability to follow facility safety and security requirements

Pay: $16 - $17 per hour
