Saber Building Services is excited to welcome a dependable Day Porter to our team at a professional office facility near the Northwestern Highway corridor in Southfield. This is a visible, hands-on position for someone who enjoys staying active, helping others, and taking pride in keeping a building clean, organized, and well maintained throughout the day.

The Day Porter will support daily custodial needs while also assisting with light facility maintenance tasks. We are looking for someone who is dependable, attentive, and comfortable responding to a variety of building needs as they arise.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, common areas, entrances, and other assigned spaces
• Empty trash, restock supplies, and perform routine custodial cleaning
• Sweep, mop, and respond to spills or immediate cleaning needs
• Perform light facility maintenance and addressing minor building needs
• Report maintenance, supply, or facility concerns to management

Requirements

• Dependable and consistent attendance
• Ability to work professionally in an occupied office environment
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and respond to changing priorities
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, reach, and perform routine custodial and light maintenance tasks

$16 - $17 per hour
