General Cleaner Job Responsibilities:
- Routine building and factory cleaning, including restrooms, offices, break rooms, stairwells, and all other site-specific areas.
- Cleaning will include trash/recycle removal, sweeping, mopping, stocking restrooms, vacuuming, window cleaning, dusting, dust-mopping, and additional tasks outlined in the scope of work.
- Cleaner will be required to comply with all safety rules, policies, and procedures. Stops risky behavior of others and self.
Schedule:
6 AM to 2:30 PM (Monday - Friday)
10 AM to 6:30 PM (Monday - Friday)
Pay: $11.50/hour
Qualifications:
- Previous Commercial Cleaning experience preferred, but not required.
- Adept to handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency with prioritizing and meeting deadlines.
- Excellent time management.
- Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and their safe use.
Essential Functions:
- Ability to wear required PPE (safety glasses and gloves) for the enitire duration of the 8 hour shift.
- Due to this site being a chemical plant the use of a respirator may be required in some areas, you must be willing to wear one if is deemed necessary.
- Must be comfortable walking, standing, reaching, stooping, and bending.
- Must be comfortable lifting 40 lbs independently.
- Must be able to work with minimal supervision and adhere to all safety guidelines.
