Supervisor Job Responsibilities: 

• Supervise and lead crews with cleaning and janitorial tasks.
• Routine building and factory cleaning, including restrooms, offices, break rooms, stairwells, and all other site-specific areas. 
• Cleaning will include trash/recycle removal, sweeping, mopping, stocking restrooms, vacuuming, window cleaning, dusting, dust-mopping, and addtitional tasks outlined in the scope of work. 
• Cleaning supervisor will be required to comply with all safety rules, policies, and procedures and also ensure that their team does as well. Must also stop risky behaviors witnessed by both themselves and others.

Qualifications:

• Past janitorial or cleaning supervisor experience required.
• Experience with carpet cleaning, floor stripping, and waxing.
• Adept to handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Profieciency with prioritizing and meeting multiple deadlines.
• Excellent time management.
• Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills. 
• Knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment. Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and their safe use.
• Must be availble to work Monday-Friday from 10 AM-6:30 PM

Essential Functions:

• Ability to wear required PPE (safety glasses and gloves) for the entire 8 hour shift.
• Due to this site being a chemical plant the use of a respirator may be required in some areas, you must be willing to wear if it is deemed necessary. 
• Must be comfortable walking, standing, reaching, stooping, and bending constantly. 
• Must be comfortable lifting 40 lbs independently.
• Must be able to supervise staff and ensure adherence to all safety guidelines.
