General Cleaner Job Responsibilities:

• Routine building and factory cleaning, including restrooms, offices, break rooms, stairwells, and all other site-specific areas.
• Cleaning will include trash/recycle removal, sweeping, mopping, stocking restrooms, vacuuming, window cleaning, dusting, dust-mopping, and additional tasks outlined in the scope of work.
• Cleaner will be required to comply with all safety rules, policies, and procedures. Stops risky behavior of others and self.

Qualifications:

• Previous Commercial Cleaning experience preferred, but not required.
• Adept to handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proficiency with prioritizing and meeting deadlines.
• Excellent time management.
• Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and their safe use.

Essential Functions:

• Ability to wear required PPE (safety glasses and gloves) for the enitire duration of the 8 hour shift.
• Due to this site being a chemical plant the use of a respirator may be required in some areas, you must be willing to wear one if is deemed necessary. 
• Must be comfortable walking, standing, reaching, stooping, and bending.
• Must be comfortable lifting 40 lbs independently.
• Must be able to work with minimal supervision and adhere to all safety guidelines.

Schedule:

1st shift: M-F 6-2:30pm

2nd shift: M-F 2:30-10pm

Pay: $13/hour

We do conduct a Background Check and Pre-Employment Drug Screening.
