Sanitation Technician Supervisor Schedule:
8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday-Friday with Mandatory Saturdays 1-2 times per month
Sanitation Technician Supervisor Starting Pay:
$21.00 per hour, paid weekly.
Sanitation Technician Supervisor Job Responsibilities:
- Power Washing, scraping, and sanitizing assigned areas.
- Floor Care to include use of an automatic scrubber.
- Cleaning will include trash/recycle removal, sweeping, mopping, stocking restrooms, vacuuming, window cleaning, dusting, dust-mopping, and additional tasks outlined in the scope of work.
- Cleaner will be required to comply with all safety rules, policies, and procedures including LOTO and proper safety harnessing. Stops risky behavior of others and self.
Qualifications:
- Must have experience/certification for fall protection.
- Must have prior supervisor experience, preferably in a sanitation.
- Must be comfortable with a LOT of walking.
- Must be comfortable climbing stairs and being two to four stories high at times.
- Confined space experience also preferred.
- Ability to operate pressure washers and automatic floor scrubbers.
- Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of cleaning methods, equipment, cleaning chemicals and their safe use.
Essential Functions:
- Ability to wear required PPE (gloves and steel toe, slip resistant shoes).
- Must be comfortable walking, standing, reaching, stooping, and bending.
- Must be comfortable lifting 40 lbs. independently.
- Must be able to work with minimal supervision and adhere to all safety guidelines.
