At Velociti Machine Operator specializing in Floor Care, you will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, and performance optimization of floor care equipment. This role involves ensuring the cleanliness and appearance of floors in various facilities. The Machine Operator will be proficient in handling floor care machinery, following safety protocols, and delivering high-quality results.

Key Accountabilities

  • Operate and maintain floor care equipment, including floor scrubbers, polishers, and vacuum cleaners.
  • Ensure proper setup, calibration, and adjustment of machines for different floor surfaces.
  • Perform routine and specialized cleaning of floors using appropriate cleaning agents and equipment.
  • Address stains, spills, and other floor-related issues promptly and effectively.
  • Inspect finished floors to ensure cleanliness, shine, and adherence to quality standards.
  • Identify and rectify any deficiencies in the cleaning process.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while operating machinery and handling cleaning agents.
  • Conduct regular safety checks on equipment and report any issues promptly.
  • Conduct routine maintenance on floor care equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Identify and report any malfunctions or the need for repairs to the maintenance team.
  • Monitor and manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment parts.
  • Place orders for supplies as needed to maintain operational efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate records of cleaning schedules, equipment maintenance, and any incidents.
  • Provide reports on machine performance and cleaning outcomes as required.

Ideal Candidate Experience

  • High School diploma or equivalent education.
  • Proven experience as a Floor Care Machine Operator or similar role.
  • Familiarity with a variety of floor care equipment and their operation.
  • Knowledge of different floor types and appropriate cleaning methods.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results.
  • Ability to follow safety guidelines and use personal protective equipment.
