We are looking to add a Assistant Manager with the potential to advance into an Area Manager in the Fredonia. This Position is second shift, and can sometimes be first. Position is 40 hours per week. Assistant Manager would work and report directly under the Operations Manager. Operations Manager would provide a tentative weekly schedule, but it could be subject to change. Position would include driving to accounts to clean and/or work with employees. After 90 days this position is one that will lead into future growth/advancement in the company. Pay is $16.00 - $18.00 an hour.

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES

  • CLEANING

Perform tasks efficiently per B&T’s custodial training system; dusting, mopping, vacuuming, sweeping, restrooms, breakrooms, spot cleaning walls and/or carpet, and other duties typical to janitorial work; perform tasks at a high and consistent level.

  • DRIVING

Drive to various job locations (within an 1.5 - 2 hours radius).

  • Nightly Reports

Accounts will score on QC’s at “good” to “excellent,” and demonstrate persistent pursuit of quality.

  • SECURITY

Maintain client security by locking exterior doors and windows while cleaning and at the completion of the job, maintain security of all keys and/or alarm codes in the employee’s possession, maintain and respect client confidentiality.

  • SAFETY

Work safely and responsibly at all times and adhere to the dress code by maintaining a professional demeanor.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORKING CONDITIONS

This job description requires the mobile custodial to lift and carry up to 30 lbs; and will require constant, repetitive motions such as reaching, grasping, pulling, pushing, wiping, bending, kneeling, standing, walking, and climbing and descending stairs.

The working conditions are varied and include offices and businesses; local travel is required.

The Assistant Manager must submit to a criminal background check.

The Assistant Manager must possess the ability to listen and communicate with other custodial cleaners and the custodial supervisor.
