We are looking for a motivated and experienced Handyman.

We are looking for a reliable and skilled handyman to join our residential building maintenance team. As a handyman, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks to ensure the safety, functionality and comfort of our tenants.

Responsibilities:

- Performing routine inspections and repairs of plumbing, heating and electrical systems

- Responding to tenant requests and complaints in a timely and professional manner

- Installing, assembling and fixing appliances, furniture and fixtures

- Painting, patching and caulking walls, ceilings and floors

- Cleaning and maintaining common areas, tools and equipment

- Following building codes, safety regulations and quality standards

- Reporting any major issues or damages to the supervisor or manager

- Ordering and maintaining inventory of supplies and materials

- Coordinating with external contractors or vendors when needed

- Assisting with other tasks as assigned by the supervisor or manager

Requirements:

• - At least two years of experience as a handyman or in a similar role
• - Working knowledge of plumbing, heating and electrical systems and tools
• - Ability to perform basic carpentry, painting and masonry tasks
• - Ability to read and interpret blueprints, manuals and instructions
• - Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• - Ability to lift and move heavy objects
• - Good communication and interpersonal skills
• - Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• - High school diploma or equivalent
• - The ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and evenings
• - The ability to pass a background check and drug test
