Cleaning and maintenance of designated building space as required by client and / or management. Functions include cleaning, dusting, cleaning floors, emptying trash, cleaning windows/blinds, sanitizing and replenishing restroom and kitchen/break room products (e.g., soap, paper products, etc.). Responsible for the care and repair of company-owned property (e.g., vacuums and other products used on-the-job).
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to:
• Respond to customers’ requests and complete duties that are given.
• Perform a wide variety of cleaning tasks such as dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, dust mopping, spot cleaning, trash collection and removal, glass cleaning and restroom cleaning.
• Set up equipment and furniture for special events and meetings as required: move tables and chairs and cabinets and other small items as requested.
• Lift, move and deliver boxes and items to other parts of the building.
• Replace light bulbs and paper products in eating areas and rest rooms.
• Request necessary supplies and maintenance needed on equipment.
• Responsible for maintaining equipment assigned in a neat and clean condition.
• Perform other similar and related duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
• Must be able to work standing up for long periods of time.
• Must have basic interpersonal skills; ability to work in the general public and communicate with co-workers and customers.
• Must have ability to read and speak English.
• Must be able to push or pull a minimum of 30 pounds.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 10 – 50 pounds.

Experience
At least six months related experience and/or training in the cleaning industry preferred.
Language Skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to speak English effectively.
