General Responsibilities:

The Critical Environments Operations Supervisor position manages operations that facilitate the maximization of resources to achieve customer satisfaction, productivity, schedule adherence and economic goals.

 

Essential Functions:

  • Oversee operations for designated customer sites.
  • Monitor daily work hours to remain within budgetary guidelines.
  • Establish and maintain open lines of communication with Employees.
  • Ensure proper usage of supplies and equipment through the training and development of employees.
  • Ensures that all cleaning flow process is followed inside a clean room environment.
  • Reviews and audits logbooks to ensure proper Documentation processes are being followed.
  • Communicates staffing changes to Manager.
  • Conduct building inspections on a routine basis, frequent walk through
  • Performs all duties and responsibilities in a timely and effective manner in accordance with established company policies to achieve the overall objectives of this position.
  • Assist with interviewing and hiring.
  • Assist with payroll/ timecards as needed.
  • Submit employee change orders timely.
  • Report any issues, concerns, or discrepancies to Manager.
  • Find and define problems, resolve cleaning issues, and use these in making appropriate recommendations to management staff, employees to exercise continuous quality improvement and to exceed customer expectations.
  • Order and deliver supplies.
  • Identify tag opportunities.
  • Assist cleaning staff in duties when necessary.
  • Review safety-training topics with employees.
  • Manage inventory of cleaning equipment and notify Manager of repairs needed.
  • Adhere to company guidelines for employee relations, employee discipline and termination procedures.
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as required or requested.

 Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • 2 + years of related experience required.
  • Supervisor or Management experience preferred.
  • Industry experience is a plus.
  • Experience in the same industry or a related field is preferred.
  • Client/Vendor Management experience is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills (Verbal and Written) and interpersonal skills.
  • Bilingual is a plus
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Must have experience working with Microsoft Office software applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
  • Must be able to put on full gown and PPE to visit lab work environments
  • Valid State Driver's License with clean record
 

Work Environment:

This job operates in a professional office environment, or medical buildings, and/or other industry buildings, depending on accounts. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. This job regularly walks job sites.

 

Reasoning Ability:

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This position manages all employees of the department and is responsible for leadership and performance management at the discretion of the Operations and Regional Managers.

 

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to walk several times a day across multiple job sites.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs.
  • Ability to push a broom or mop; bend, reach, stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Repetitive use of hands, wrists, arms, and legs, including climbing stairs and ladders, kneeling, crawling, and squatting.
  • Able to use full face respirators and pass a medical fit test.
  • Able to work in lab environments wearing full gowns and PPE.
Travel

Travel is primarily local, although some out of the area travel and overnight may be expected.

 

Position Type and Schedule

  • This is a full-time position.
  • The standard hours are from 3:30 PM to 11:30 PM, with flexibility required for morning, evening, and weekend shifts as necessary.
Annual Base Salary: $55,000
