Job Description
Title: Floor Technician
Reports to: Operations Manager/Supervisor
Job purpose: Following a system of accountability when cleaning, sustaining and maintaing carpet and tile flooring.
Schedule: Monday-Sunday
Hours; TBD
Requirements: MUST HAVE FLOOR EXPERIENCE:
Current Driver License
Key responsibilities:
*Adhere to all environmental services regulations and protocols
*Perform floor cleaning tasks, including Maintaing carpet and hard surface floors. Using Manufacturer approved floor methods.
* Maintaing inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.
*Strip, seal, wax, and buff floors to maintain their shine plus protect them frm damage.
*Hours/week. Shifts include evening, and weekend hours. (the candidate needs to have a flexible schedule)
Requirements:
Excellent time management skills to prioritze tasks efficiently
Previous experience in commerical cleaning or floor care is preferred.
Familiar with carpet cleaning techniques and equipment.
Ability to operate floor care machinery such as buffers, scrubbers, and extractors.
Able to carry and lift up to 75 pounds.
Extra:
*Responsible for maintaining and reporting on a daily basis the truck maintenance, along with chemical used and reporting any broken equipment.
*Must be flexible in schedule, and from time to time, go up and down stairs on a daily basis. Most days employees will be on their feet for 8 hours or more.
*Must clean out on a daily basis filters, used chemical bottles, fans, wands, and any garbage left in the truck.
There may be additional duties required. We value those who are flexible and willing to go the extra mile.
Pay: $17.00 per hour depending on experience
