Evening Janitorial Site Supervisor
Site: Downtown Pittsburgh
Shift: 4pm-12:00am
Pay: Competitive Salary - Commensurate with Experience - Starting at $25/hr
St. Moritz Building Services, Inc. is seeking a self-motivated, energetic, dependable individual to join our team as a Janitorial Building Supervisor. This position offers a unique opportunity to lead and train a team of cleaning professionals while ensuring exceptional service and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the daily cleaning operations to provide consistent, high-quality cleaning services.
- Train, supervise, develop, and motivate the janitorial staff.
- Conduct daily quality inspections of the facility to ensure standards are met.
- Identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Retrain and coach staff on custodial responsibilities as needed.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and employee morale.
- Oversee the inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, always ensuring an adequate supply.
- Fill vacancies as necessary, due to sickness or vacation.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Proven comfort and experience to interact effectively with all levels of management, clients, and staff, both inside and outside of the organization. Good people skills are a must!
- Proven job reliability, diligence, and dedication.

- Capable of using independent judgment to make solid decisions.
- Proven experience supervising 5+ employees.
- Must have a minimum of 1 year cleaning experience.
- Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable climbing stairs, walking, squatting, and/or long periods of standing.
