Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to join our team as a Special Projects Lead. In this role, you will be responsible for leading daily morning projects with our projects crew. This is a hands-on position that requires expertise as a floor tech and a deep understanding of the commercial cleaning industry.
Responsibilities:
1. Lead and coordinate daily morning projects with the projects crew.
2. Supervise and provide guidance to team members to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to high standards.
3. Perform hands-on tasks as needed, including floor maintenance and cleaning.
4. Ensure compliance with safety protocols and company policies during project execution.
5. Collaborate with management to develop project schedules and allocate resources effectively.
6. Train new team members on proper techniques and procedures for floor care and maintenance.
7. Monitor inventory levels and report any supply needs to management in a timely manner.
8. Conduct quality inspections to ensure work meets client expectations and industry standards.
9. Maintain accurate records of project progress, expenses, and time spent on tasks.
10. Assist in troubleshooting and resolving any issues that may arise during projects.
Requirements:
1. Proven experience as a floor tech or similar role in the commercial cleaning industry.
2. Strong knowledge of floor care techniques, equipment, and chemicals.
3. Excellent leadership and communication skills.
4. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks.
5. Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
6. Flexibility to work early mornings and occasional weekends as needed.
7. Valid driver's license.
8. High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications or training in floor care is a plus.
