Position Title: Special Services Manager
Reports To: Regional Vice President
Supervises: Special Service & Project Technicians
Basic Functions: As a Special Services Manager, you will oversee, plan, and direct the growth and development of the Special Services Division at SMO. Your primary goal will be to ensure all work meets or exceeds customer expectations and company profit objectives.
Major Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Sales Department to create a qualified potential Special Services customer database and develop marketing strategies.
- Analyze economic and market intelligence to understand major competitors' market share and pricing.
- Partner with Company Executives to set sales, budget, and profit goals.
- Identify special service opportunities within SMO’s current customer base.
- Make sales calls to secure new business and close deals for Special Services.
- Prepare and present Special Services bids and sales proposals to the Company President.
- Track all job expenses and ensure accurate billing processes.
- Participate in industry training and certifications to stay current with technologies and procedures.
- Attend industry tradeshows to promote SMO.
- Develop and maintain excellent customer references.
- Collaborate with HR to recruit, hire, and develop Special Services staff.
- Implement training and safety programs for the Special Services team.
- Manage job budgets to ensure profitability and compliance with company standards.
- Maintain all operational equipment and vehicles in excellent condition.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Regional VP.
