As we expand, we are looking for a results-driven Sales Manager to lead our growth efforts, build strong client relationships, and position CleanCraft as the go-to cleaning solution throughout Upstate New York.

Position Summary

The Sales Manager is responsible for driving new business growth, establishing key partnerships, and ensuring long-term client satisfaction through strategic sales initiatives. This person will lead the sales function and work closely with the CEO to expand CleanCraft’s client base, strengthen our market presence, and build out a scalable sales team as we grow.


The ideal candidate is a self-starter, a strong communicator, and a motivated team leader with a track record of success in B2B sales—preferably in facility services or a related industry.

Key Responsibilities

90% – Drive Sales Growth

  • Meet or exceed new client acquisition and revenue targets through direct selling and team-led efforts.
  • Identify, pursue, and close opportunities across CleanCraft’s core sectors (medical, educational, industrial, commercial).
  • Develop a repeatable sales strategy and playbook tailored to the janitorial/facility services industry.
  • Create and implement effective lead generation, prospecting, and pipeline management tactics.
  • Present solutions-based proposals that align with client needs and compliance standards.
  • Collaborate with operations to scope and price proposals accurately and sustainably.

10% – Build & Develop Sales Team

  • Recruit, onboard, and mentor junior sales representatives as the company grows.
  • Define sales KPIs and ensure alignment with company growth goals.
  • Foster a collaborative, performance-driven sales culture.
  • Conduct ongoing training and development to improve selling skills and industry knowledge.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Serve as a strategic advisor to the CEO and leadership team on market trends, customer insights, and new service opportunities.
  • Support RFP responses and proposal development for complex commercial clients.
  • Represent CleanCraft at industry events and networking opportunities.
  • Drive cross-selling and upselling opportunities with existing clients.

Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5–7 years of successful B2B sales experience; experience in commercial cleaning or facility services is a major plus.
  • Proven ability to build and execute a regional sales strategy.
  • Strong leadership and coaching abilities.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally throughout Upstate NY.
