We are looking for a utility porter to work as part of the night staff at Citi Field. The position requires flooring expertise.  This position is responsible for cleaning administrative offices, office space, pantries and restrooms. 

This is a 32BJ union position. Monday - Friday, 6PM - 2AM.  Pay  is at $23.22. per hour

Responsibilities:

1. Sweep & mop lobby floor , then buff floor nightly.
2. Remove Trash from container and replace with new liner every day.  
3. Wipe counter tops and cabinet doors.
4. Dust wood walls with extender duster.
5. Clean windowsills.
6. Sweep and mop floors and buff.
7. Scrub and sanitize restrooms.
8. Dust frosted glass.
9. Spot clean carpets.
10. Shampoo all carpeting.
11. Scrub pantries & mailrooms floor, and refinish floor.

Requirements:

• You must have experience in janitorial/custodial maintenance and cleaning;
• Experience with working on different flooring materials;
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities;
• Professional appearance and communication;
• Ability to work 6:00 PM until 2:00 AM;
• You must be capable of standing and walking for long periods;
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs, to bend, reach, and carry;
• Ability to take direction and work in a team-oriented environment.
