As an FMS team member your responsibilities include and are not limited to the following:
Cleaning
- Completes assigned route(s) and tasks to a high standard
- Completes approved customer requests
- Performs “Rag in Hand!” and cleans per FMS standards
Teamwork
- Fills in for others due to circumstance
- Identifies cleaning needs and problems
- Help others complete cleaning tasks
Representing
- Maintains a positive demeanor
- Reports to work in uniform
Communicating
- Communicates safety needs to lead/supervisor daily
- Communicates cleaning needs to lead/supervisor daily
- Communicates supply equipment needs to lead/supervisor daily
- Communicates personal needs to lead/supervisor daily

Being Safe
- Follows FMS safety policies and procedures
- Secures areas as required
- Communicates suspicious behaviors and unsafe conditions
Additional Responsibilities
- Participate in the FMS training and safety program and apply what you have learned in your everyday activities
- Adhere to the policies and procedures in the FMS Policies Manuals
- Clock in and out when you begin working, when you finish, and when you take lunch, using the FMS time tracking system for ALL shifts
- Report any injuries, not matter what type, to your supervisor
Job Requirements and Essential Functions of the job
As an FMS Team Member, you must be able to:
- Lift, push or pull objects weighing up to 40 lbs.
- Carry items under 20 lbs.
- Squat, bend, stoop, and reach
- Perform overhead reaching
- Perform repetitive arm and hand movements for long periods of time
- Walk distances over 100 yds. for long periods of time
- Work in noisy environments
- Work in warm and/or chilly environments
- Work outside for brief intervals
- Fill out simple paperwork
