Summary:
The Production Team Member is responsible for sequencing parts, sub-assembly, and body weld operations while maintaining safety, quality, and efficiency. This role requires teamwork, adherence to standardized processes, and flexibility to cross-train across production functions.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Language Skills:
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals in English.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Mathematical Skills:
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in standard units of measurement (money, weight, volume, distance).
Reasoning Ability:
• Ability to apply common-sense understanding to carry out detailed but simple instructions.
• Ability to address problems involving a few variables in standardized situations.
Required Skills/Abilities:
• Must have a reliable smartphone as a condition of employment for timekeeping, employee portal access, and company communications.
Physical Requirements
• Regularly required to stand and walk; frequently required to talk or hear.
• Occasionally required to handle objects, reach with arms, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities include close, distance, and color vision.
Work Environment:
• Work performed in a production/manufacturing environment.
• May occasionally be exposed to wet/humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, outdoor weather, and extreme heat.
• Noise level is typically loud.
