We are seeking an Experienced Concrete Polishing Technician who takes pride in precision, efficiency, and excellence. If you have hands-on experience with professional-grade equipment and enjoy producing top-quality polished floors, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Perform end-to-end concrete polishing including grinding, honing, densifying, sealing, and burnishing.
- Operate and maintain planetary grinders, edge machines, vacuums, and burnishers (Husqvarna, Lavina, HTC, etc.).
- Read and follow project specifications, ensuring correct grit progression and finish level.
- Apply densifiers, guards, stains, and sealers per manufacturer guidelines.
- Conduct minor concrete repairs, patching, and surface prep as needed.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures, including silica dust control and PPE use.
- Train and support junior technicians and assist foremen with jobsite planning.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work area.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in concrete polishing or related flooring trades.
- Proficient in diamond tooling selection, grit progression, and finish level control.
- Familiar with moisture testing, surface hardness, and coating removal techniques.
- Strong mechanical skills and ability to troubleshoot equipment.
- Excellent attention to detail, time management, and teamwork skills.
- Must have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and be willing to travel for projects.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical labor in varying conditions.
