Job Summary:
The Janitorial Account Manager is responsible for the overall management, performance, and profitability of a school system janitorial account. This role involves ensuring consistent service delivery, client satisfaction, and operational efficiency. The Janitorial Account Manager will lead a team of operations staff, driving business growth through effective management practices and strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership & Team Management:
     
    • Oversee and manage a team of site supervisors and janitorial staff across a school system.
  •  
    • Provide guidance, training, and support to ensure high performance and adherence to company standards.
  •  
    • Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, communication, and continuous improvement.

  • Client Relationship Management:
     
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with the client, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  •  
    • Conduct regular client meetings and site visits to assess service quality and address any concerns.
  •  
    • Implement client feedback into service improvement strategies.
  •  
  • Operational Oversight:
     
    • Ensure the effective and efficient delivery of janitorial services across the account.
  •  
    • Monitor account performance, conducting regular inspections to ensure compliance with company standards.
  •  
    • Develop and implement operational procedures and best practices to enhance service quality and efficiency.
  •  
  • Financial Management:
     
    • Manage the budget, including labor costs, supply expenses, and other operational costs.
  •  
    • Analyze financial performance and take corrective actions to ensure profitability.
  •  
    • Work with the finance department to prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  •  
  • Business Development:
     
    • Identify and pursue opportunities for expanding services within the existing account and acquiring new business.
  •  
    • Collaborate with the sales team to develop and execute strategies for business growth within the region.
  •  
    • Participate in contract negotiations and renewals.
