Duties & Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of the housekeeping and accommodation services department.
  • Coordinate and supervise housekeeping supervisors and staff.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness, quality, and safety standards are met.
  • Develop and enforce housekeeping procedures and service standards.
  • Manage inventory and purchase cleaning supplies and equipment.
  • Arrange for repair and maintenance of housekeeping equipment.
  • Recruit, train, schedule, and evaluate housekeeping staff.
  • Maintain departmental budgets, cost controls, and financial records.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
  • Work with other departments to support overall guest or resident satisfaction


Requirements & Qualifications

  • Experience in housekeeping or accommodation services supervision or management.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and team-coordination skills.
  • Knowledge of cleaning standards, sanitation practices, and safety regulations.
  • Ability to manage budgets, inventory, and purchasing.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Post-secondary education in hospitality, business, or a related field an asset.
