Role Responsibilities


LACOSTA Senior Sanitation Manager will oversee sanitation operations across multiple sites. The Senior Sanitation Manager is responsible for leading and overseeing all Sanitation Operations across multiple sites. This role ensures compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards while driving efficiency, quality, and continuous improvement. The Senior Sanitation Manager provides strategic direction, manages high-level operations, mentors sanitation leaders, and ensures that all sanitation activities support organizational goals.


Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise Operations: Oversee sanitation teams, route schedules, facility cleaning across assigned areas.
  • Ensure Compliance: Make sure operations comply with local, state, and federal sanitation, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Quality Control: Perform inspections to ensure cleanliness standards are being met.
  • Team Leadership: Hire, train, coach, and evaluate sanitation supervisors and staff.
  • Budget Management: Manage budgets, equipment procurement, and cost-control initiatives.
  • Health & Safety: Implement safety protocols, conduct training, and reduce workplace hazards.
  • Reporting: Track KPIs such as efficiency, waste volume, incidents, and compliance performance.
  • Customer/Community Relations: Address concerns from businesses, residents, or partner departments.

Required Skills

  • Strong leadership and communication
  • Knowledge of sanitation standards (OSHA, EPA, HACCP for food environments, etc.)
  • Ability to manage logistics and scheduling
  • Problem-solving and conflict resolution
  • Budget and resource management
