Programmed Cleaning Inc. services multi-tenant buildings, commercial office buildings, healthcare facilities, financial institutions, and educational facilities just to name a few of our clientele. With over 60 years of cleaning experience, we have established ourselves as a dynamic regional contractor.
We are looking for a Bilingual Building Supervisor to oversee a collection of buildings in the Fitchburg region. The schedule runs from Monday to Friday, 5:00 PM to 1:00 AM. A valid WI Driver's License is required, and the candidate must be willing to travel for most of the shift.
The supervisor will manage and organize the cleaning operations, as well as the daily tasks of the cleaning staff to meet both the customer contract and Programmed Cleaning’s quality standards.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure the assigned building is cleaned and maintained to the highest standard.
- Assist in training of all cleaning employees, ensuring that all employees have a complete understanding of the company policy, procedures, and expectations.
- Collaborate with other vendors along with day porters (if there is one).
- Assign tasks to workers based on job requirements or special assignments.
- Order and issue supplies as needed.
- Inspect all completed work for conformance to Programmed Cleaning and customer standards.
- Efficiently maintain employees’ work schedules daily.
- As necessary, function in general cleaning role to ensure work is complete.
- Become familiar with the nightly operations of other buildings in the complex, being capable of performing other supervisors’ duties in their absence and oversee their employees along with yours.
- Will assist in all buildings from start to finish when needed.
- Maintain control of establishment keys in accordance with building procedures, and security.
- Set a constant example to all associates in dress and behavior, ensuring all employees are adhering to grooming and conduct standards.
- Evaluates employee performance, conduct on-the-job training and coaching when necessary, and initiate disciplinary action of employees when appropriate.
- Promote a safe and disciplined environment with adherence to company policy and procedures.
- Report incidents, procedures, or safety violations to the District Manager and Human Resources.
- Correct any customer dissatisfaction the same day/night and keep District Management advised of any problem situations.
- Conduct safety meetings with employees as needed and assure that proper safety procedures are followed at the job site.
- Other job duties may be assigned based on customer or management discretion.
