Position Details: 

• Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour
• Start Date: March 1st, 2026
• General Location: Baton Rouge, LA
• Facility Type: Office
• Shift Time: 7:00am - 4:00pm
• Shift Days: Monday - Friday

General Duties: 

• Must have experience with floor machines, especially the following: slow speed, high speed, wet/dry vac, and willingness to train and learn other machines (walk-behind, square scrub, etc.). Must communicate well, timely, and be schedule oriented.
• Responsible for the floor maintenance of hard surface and carpet (dust and wet mopping, stripping, waxing, buffing, shampooing, extraction, and bonneting) of areas that include offices, corridors, lobbies, entrances, stairwells, and other public areas.
• Applies stripper to floors to remove old wax then refinishes floors with new wax product.
• Vacuuming, restroom cleaning, window cleaning, dusting, trash disposal, emergency requests, and many other miscellaneous cleaning duties.
• Standing, walking, and bending will be required for all job duties for the entire shift.
• Must be hardworking, reliable, customer service-oriented, friendly, professional, and a team player.

• Lift 35 lbs, carry full trash bags, operate, and lift janitorial equipment, lift and stock janitorial supplies.
