The Account Supervisor is responsible for overseeing assigned janitorial accounts through direct customer interaction, staff supervision, quality inspections, and enforcement of service specifications. This role ensures high-quality service delivery while maintaining strong client relationships and supporting staff performance and development. 

  

Essential Duties & Responsibilities 

Account & Client Management:

  • Supervise assigned accounts through regular customer interaction and site inspections.
  • Enforce service specifications and recognize special requirements for each account.
  • Respond promptly to client needs, concerns, and service adjustments.
  • Quote additional services based on square footage, frequency, and/or hourly rates.

Scheduling & Operations:

  • Create and manage cleaning and specialty service schedules.
  • Delegate assignments and enforce schedules through inspection and follow-up.
  • Set up specialty crews daily, including distributing keys, reviewing work tickets, and ensuring materials are available.
  • Coordinate staffing needs and assign additional personnel when necessary.

Staff Supervision & Training:

  • Provide full supervision of jobsite staff, specialty crews, and direct assistants.
  • Train new employees on:
    • Company policies and chain of command
    • Cleaning methods and jobsite specifications
    • Quality standards and performance expectations
  • Assist staff with daily, weekly, and monthly scheduled tasks when needed to ensure quality service delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and all applicable local, state, and federal laws.

Quality Control:

  • Conduct routine inspections to ensure specifications are met.
  • Educate staff on proper chemical dilution and safe handling procedures.
  • Maintain high service standards to deliver quality results the first time.

Qualifications 

Education & Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of janitorial field experience with hands-on cleaning and jobsite work.
  • Minimum 2 years of customer service or client relations experience.

Language Skills:

  • Fluent in English and Spanish (required).
  • Ability to read and interpret policies, procedures, and government regulations.
  • Ability to write reports, work tickets, specifications, and business correspondence.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills with staff, clients, and the public.

Reasoning & Problem-Solving:

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong scheduling and coordination skills.
  • Effective problem-solving in fast-paced environments.

Computer Skills:

  • Proficiency in:
    • Microsoft Office
    • WinTeam
    • Gmail
    • Kwantek
    • eHub

Additional Requirements

  • Ability to lift and move up to 60 pounds.
  • Ability to properly dilute cleaning chemicals and train staff accordingly.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • High level of tact, diplomacy, discretion, and cultural awareness.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
