Lead Cleaner – Medical Facility

CleanCraft is hiring! We're not after average cleaners. We're hunting for a sharp, self-starting Lead Cleaner who owns the shift, enforces elite standards, and treats every surface like patient safety depends on it—because it does. This is a hands-on leadership role in a medical facility where precision, infection control, and zero-compromise cleanliness keep things sterile and safe.

Job Type: Full-Time,

Schedule: 12:00 PM – 9:00 PM (with an hour lunch break)

SummaryYou lead from the front: perform deep cleaning and sanitization, guide any support cleaners, interact with facility staff and providers during daytime hours, and close the building each night with flawless final walkthroughs. No supervision needed—you spot issues, fix them fast, and leave every area hospital-grade ready for the next day. In a medical environment, your work directly supports patient safety and infection prevention. You thrive on detail, move with urgency, and never settle for "good enough."

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead daily cleaning operations during your shift: perform and oversee thorough cleaning of floors, walls, carpets, furniture, high-touch surfaces, exam rooms, waiting areas, and offices.
  • Execute rigorous restroom and clinical-area sanitization using hospital-grade disinfectants, following strict protocols for chemical use, dilution, contact times, and infection control standards.
  • Perform hands-on cleaning tasks—lead by example, jump in wherever the work is heaviest.
  • Conduct quality inspections throughout the shift: check work quality, ensure high standards of sterility and appearance, and correct any deficiencies immediately.
  • Close the building each evening: perform final walkthroughs, secure all areas, verify lights/equipment off, lock doors, set alarms if required, and confirm the facility is left spotless and safe overnight.
  • Monitor and restock supplies, report low inventory, and handle minor maintenance or spill response per protocols.
  • Attend required safety, infection control, and training meetings; stay current on healthcare cleaning best practices.
  • Complete all assigned tasks with precision—no loose ends, no callbacks.

What You Bring

  • Proven experience in commercial or healthcare cleaning; medical facility background is a major plus (you understand infection prevention isn't optional).
  • Self-starter mindset: you manage your time, prioritize tasks, and deliver without hand-holding.
  • Strong attention to detail and standards obsession—you notice dust or a missed surface instantly.
  • Professional demeanor for customer interaction: calm, courteous, discreet in patient-facing areas.
  • Physical ability to handle cleaning equipment, lift supplies, bend, stand for long periods.
  • Reliable transportation and flexibility for the split-shift schedule.
  • Comfortable with chemicals, PPE, and safety protocols—OSHA/CDC guidelines don't faze you.

Benefits & GrowthThis role offers real career potential at CleanCraft—grow into supervisory positions, build expertise in healthcare environments, and position yourself for long-term stability.

  • Competitive full-time pay with potential for increases based on performance.
  • Health insurance: Employer covers 70% of premiums.
  • 401(k) with match—build toward retirement.
  • Optional third-party benefits (vision, dental, life, disability) via payroll deduction.
  • But the real perk? The quality of life and peace that comes from knowing your work protects patients, staff, and the community every single shift.
