Currently seeking a Full-Time Clean Sweep Ambassador in the Milwaukee region. Working hours are Monday to Friday from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM. This position requires a valid Wisconsin regular driver’s license and the successful completion of a background check and drug screening. While prior cleaning experience is preferred, it is not mandatory. Duties encompass event setup and takedown, adherence to specific cleaning schedules, and working in open-air environments.

Helping to keep downtown Milwaukee litter-free and sparkling clean. Beyond ensuring a spic and span downtown, the CSAs are behind the scenes assisting with downtown events. From installing over twenty-eight miles of wire to light downtown for the six-week Milwaukee Holiday Lights Festival to arranging picnic tables for guests to enjoy an outdoor concert series, the work of this team impacts impressions of downtown daily. A Clean Sweep Ambassador works in a team setting to ensure a litter-free and sparkling clean downtown.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESONSIBILITIES:

• Special events display set up and takedown during all seasons
• Scrubbing and power washing the streets
• Maintaining cleanliness of downtown streets during spring, summer, and early fall
• Gum removal, weed control and litter pickup
• Pressure washing sidewalks
• Emptying trash cans along service route
• Transporting trash to dumpsite
• Help moving tables set up and take down for events
• Begin holiday lights set up in downtown parks early fall
• Holiday frame displays set up with holidays lights in late fall
• Take down and clean-up of lights, cords, decorations and displays to organize and put away for next holiday season in January
• Working together by leading a team on any other requests from the BID office as needed
