Stathakis is hiring a full-time Operations Support Specialist in Farmington Hills, MI. This is an on-site field and warehouse support role that helps keep janitorial operations running smoothly through staffing coverage, supply delivery, warehouse inventory support, light maintenance, fleet upkeep, and facility organization. This position is ideal for a dependable team member who can adapt to changing priorities and support multiple operational needs across assigned accounts. The position is Monday- Friday from 8:00 am- 4:30 pm and pays between $16.00-$20.00 an hour. Weekend overtime is available as needed.

Position Summary:

The Operations Support Specialist provides day-to-day support for janitorial field operations, warehouse and inventory activities, light maintenance tasks, and company fleet readiness. This role helps maintain service quality, operational continuity, responsiveness, and safe working conditions across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Janitorial Field Operations and Warehouse/Inventory Support:

• Provide coverage for open positions and employee call-offs
• Assist with field support duties including supply delivery, laundry pickup and drop off and special project work
• Received and complete daily assignments from the Operations Manager
• Maintain communication throughout the shift regarding job status and completion
• Received, unload, and stock incoming shipments
• Fill and prepare supply orders for delivery
• Maintain accurate inventory records
• Conduct inventory counts as directed
• Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and properly stocked
• Maintain the warehouse exterior and parking lot, including trash removal and general upkeep
• Wash, dry, and fold linens
• Ensure proper handling and organization of materials 

Light Maintenance Support:

• Provide basic maintenance coverage when maintenance technicians are unavailable
• Respond to basic maintenance requests such as:
• • Light bulb replacement
  • Unclogging drains
  • Basic fixture adjustment
  • Ceiling tile replacement
  • Minor repairs and general upkeep
  • Changing door knobs
• Assist with preventative maintenance tasks as directed
• Report major or complex maintenance issues to management immediately
• Follow safety procedures while performing maintenance duties

Qualifications:

• Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
• Ability to lift and move supplies and equipment
• Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities
• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to perform minor maintenance tasks
