ServiceMaster is now hiring Janitorial Managers with strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
Manage ServiceMaster’s housekeeping and floor maintenance programs across assigned accounts to consistently exceed customer expectations while promoting employee development and satisfaction.
· Hire, train, and onboard employees according to company standards
· Ensure team members understand company policies, security procedures, and safe chemical usage
· Verify daily production is completed according to schedules and quality standards
· Provide ongoing coaching and employee support
· Demonstrate effective two-way communication
· Promote teamwork and ServiceMaster culture
· Show genuine care for customers and service quality
· Resolve customer requests and complaints within 24 hours
· Ensure proper handling and maintenance of equipment, supplies, and vehicles
· Submit accurate and timely payroll information
· Maintain confidential and accurate employee and customer records
· Follow company policies and support continuous improvement
· Employee orientation completed within the first month of hire
· Daily inspections meet at least a 70% quality target
· Weekly audits meet at least a 75% quality target
· Audit results reviewed with crews within one week
· Supplies and equipment maintained at acceptable levels in 80% of accounts
· Manager and crew maintain professional uniform and grooming standards
· Customer complaints reported by 9:00 a.m. the next business day
· Active logbooks maintained at each account
· Business-hour pages responded to within 30 minutes
· Participation in at least 80% of accountability meetings
· Completion of 8 hours of annual training
· Manage all customer interactions and relationships
· Schedule floor care and project work
· Confirm employee attendance and staffing coverage
· Manage labor budgets and approve timecards
· Identify add-on sales opportunities
· Support inventory, supply, and paper product operations
· Recognize employee milestones and achievements
