LACOSTA is looking for a Baler and Scrubber Operator to join our team in Lenexa, KS!
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 40hrs/week
- 1st Shift: 5:00 AM-1:30 PM
- 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM
- **OVERTIME REQUIRED for the first few weekends during busy season!
Pay Rate: Paid weekly (every Friday)
Job Duties: Responsible for maintaining cleanliness of assigned areas throughout the shift. Comply with company policies, OSHA standards, and site-specific safety rules
- Follow safety procedures while operating scrubber or tugger equipment in active work areas
- Work independently or as part of a janitorial/maintenance team
- Operate ride-on and walk-behind floor scrubbers to clean pit areas, warehouses, and industrial floors (pulling cardboard cages and dumpsters)
- Properly mix, handle, and dispose of cleaning chemicals according to guidelines
- Comply with all safety guidelines, including proper PPE usage
Requirements:
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Ability to work in industrial or warehouse environments
- Must comply with all safety rules, policies, and procedures.
- Physical requirements: walking, standing, reaching, bending, and lifting 50lbs independently.
- Must wear LACOSTA provided uniform and PPE, as well as your own steel-toed shoes/boots while working.
- Remove all jewelry and accessories.
