Job Title: Janitor / Commercial Cleaner (Part-Time)

Location: Waynesburg, PA

Pay Rate: $14.00 / hour

Job Type: Part-Time (20 hours/week + alternating weekends)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Janitor to join our team in Waynesburg, PA. In this role, you will play a crucial part in keeping our building impeccably clean, safe, and well-maintained.

Schedule & Hours

This is a part-time position requiring approximately 20 hours per week during the week, plus rotating weekend shifts:

• Monday – Friday: Regular weekday shifts (20 hours total)
• Weekends: Required every other weekend (4 hours on Saturday, 4 hours on Sunday)

Key Responsibilities

• Floor Care: Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors across the facility.
• General Cleaning: Empty trash receptacles, wipe down surfaces, and wash internal, ground-floor windows.
• Safety & Maintenance: Promptly wipe up spills, manage other hazards, and keep the building safe and well-maintained.
• Security: Securely lock all doors and ensure building security once cleaning duties are finished for the day.
• Perform other general cleaning duties as needed to maintain a high standard of cleanliness.

Qualifications

• Experience: Proven experience as a janitor, custodian, or commercial cleaner.
• Skills: Strong familiarity with standard cleaning supplies, chemicals, and equipment.
• Attributes: Hardworking, detail-oriented, and possesses a strong work ethic.
• Transportation: Must have a valid driver’s license and/or reliable transportation to and from the worksite in Waynesburg.
