We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Landscaper to join our Grounds Maintenance team on a seasonal basis to provide vacation coverage for approximately five (5) months. This role involves maintaining outdoor spaces to a high standard using a variety of landscaping tools and equipment. The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, detail-oriented, and experienced in operating landscaping machinery. Some of the duties include: 

Responsibilities: 

• Operate landscaping equipment such as lawn mowers, leaf blowers, and trimmers.
• Safely use chainsaws and other cutting tools for tree and branch removal.
• Perform routine lawn maintenance, including mowing, edging, and trimming.
• Remove leaves, debris, and general outdoor waste.
• Maintain the overall cleanliness and appearance of outdoor spaces.
• Plant, prune, and care for trees, shrubs, and other vegetation.
• Assist with seasonal tasks such as leaf removal and storm cleanup.
• Conduct basic equipment inspections and maintenance.
• Follow all safety protocols and company procedures.
• Support team members with general groundskeeping duties as needed..

Requirements: 

• Previous landscaping or grounds maintenance experience preferred.
• Ability to safely operate chainsaws and landscaping machinery.
• Experience using lawn mowers, leaf blowers, trimmers, and related tools.
• Knowledge of basic landscaping and outdoor maintenance practices.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Physically capable of lifting, carrying, and performing manual labor.
• Understanding of safety practices when operating equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Valid driver’s license preferred (if applicable).
