Position Summary

We are seeking a reliable and professional Day Porter to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment at our client's outpatient surgical facility in Fredericksburg, VA. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, dependable, and able to work independently in a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of common areas, restrooms, waiting rooms, and staff areas
• Perform light janitorial duties including trash removal, dusting, sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces
• Monitor and restock restroom and facility supplies as needed
• Respond promptly to cleaning requests and spills
• Help maintain a sanitary and professional environment for patients, visitors, and staff
• Follow all safety and infection-control procedures

Qualifications

• Previous porter, janitorial, or custodial experience preferred
• Ability to work independently and efficiently
• Professional appearance and positive attitude
• Reliable transportation and punctual attendance
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift light to moderate weight during shifts
