Maintenance Technician | New Boston

Monday - Friday | 7:00am - 3:30pm

$18 - $20 per hour

We are seeking an experienced and dependable Maintenance Technician to support facility maintenance and floor care operations at a large automotive manufacturing facility in the New Boston area near the I-275 and Bell Road corridor.

This is not a typical janitorial position. This role is designed for someone with previous maintenance experience who is comfortable working in an active manufacturing environment and supporting a variety of facility needs throughout the day. The position will include floor care, general maintenance tasks, and support work that helps keep the facility clean, safe, and operational.

Responsibilities

• Perform floor care throughout the facility, including use of appropriate floor equipment
• Assist with general facility maintenance tasks as assigned
• Support daily upkeep of production, common, and support areas within the facility
• Operate or learn to operate facility equipment as needed
• Assist with moving materials, supplies, and equipment safely throughout the building
• Identify and report maintenance concerns, safety issues, or facility repair needs
• Follow all site safety procedures and company work practices
• Work professionally in an active automotive manufacturing environment
• Support overall facility cleanliness, organization, and operational readiness

Requirements

• Steel toe or hardened toe safety shoes are required for this position (Employee must provide their own safety shoes)
• Previous maintenance technician or general maintenance experience required
• Previous floor care or facility maintenance experience preferred
• Previous forklift experience or forklift certification preferred
• Willingness to complete forklift training if not currently certified
• Comfortable working in an automotive manufacturing environment
• Ability to safely use maintenance tools, floor care equipment, and facility equipment as assigned
• Reliable attendance and dependable work ethic

Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, push, and pull throughout the shift
